The State of New Jersey is issuing a $1.35 "per-watt" rebate on residential PV systems. This means on a 4kW (4,000 watt) system, the State will pay $5,400 to the customer. Applies on systems up to 10 kW. Residential Systems greater than 10kW can recieve a rebate, but only up to the first 10kW.
The Federal Government issues a 30% tax credit for renewable energy systems. The credit applies to the cost of the system AFTER the State rebate has been applied.
Non Residential Systems up to 50kW are eligible for an $0.80 per watt rebate. Systems over 50kW are not eligible for a rebate.
